With September now behind us, this ever growing metro has even more restaurant happenings to add to an already exciting year. If you are looking for something different then the usual modern sports bar theme, you should check out The Roundup Saloon. Located across from Mexican Village on 45th street and 31st avenue south in Fargo, this old west themed bar brings a spacious yet cozy feel and a fun atmosphere. Before you grab your six shooters and yell Keeeyaw, they do have plenty of big flat screen TV’s, a TouchTunes jukebox and a couple of arcade games. They really do go all out on the old time saloon theme. They have everything going on but live piano, staged fights in the corner and an animatronic show on the second floor every hour. Hey Rick, were just spit balling ideas here! Beautiful oak wood covers the bar, huge vaulted ceilings, big garage style doors lead to the patio out front and they even have old time looking windows. Plenty of pizza options and classic bar food fill their menu that has the old Round Up logo on it. The Round Up Lounge was a staple of downtown Fargo on NP avenue in the 70’s. When you are done at The Round Up there is also a liquor store conveniently located right next door as well.
This week on Friday September 30th, Peoples Organic in Fargo announced they are closed for business on their Facebook page.
But the good news is, today on Saturday October 1st, they announced that they will be opening a new Mexican restaurant in its place. Perlas Fresh Mexican will be opening in October and will still feature a gluten free, vegan and vegetarian atmosphere. They will offer a $5 lunch from 11AM to 5PM daily. We look forward to experiencing their new direction.
